Annotation The article is devoted to research of the activity of the Court of Justice of the European Union in the sphere of constitutionalization of the EU law, which provides the EU law with unique features not typical to other international organizations. The matter of «constitutionalization of the EU law» is explored. Such aspects of this process as supremacy and direct effect of EU law, responsibility of member-states for breach of the EU law are examined. Author underlines that it was the Court of Justice of the European Union who has developed these fundamental principles of EU law, which became the guarantors of successful functioning of the Union.
